Fantastic. Very engaging read. In 79AD, several deaths have resulted when an unsuspected volcanic eruption took place in Italy. The mountain is mount Vesuvius and the nearby cities and towns were swept away by high velocity rain of pumice stones and the following fire stream. Thousands of people have died. Several monuments lay in ruin at the end of the eruption. These are historical facts. The author has remained loyal to the facts and the descriptions of how the event must have taken place, how certain people might have reacted and either escaped by chance or perished unluckily are fictional creations of his brilliant mind. I enjoyed reading this story very much .  


Nothing felt - not even the fire wave - overdone. I would like to check out some other best sellers from the author! Great read.

The twists!! And wow wow wow .. the lies!! The deceptions ! Its exotic and steamy! Unputdownable. Highly Addictive. Been wanting to read this for a while now! The paperbacks being so expensive, I settled in for a Kindle experience. I am not disappointed. The lack of smut - which I expected/anticipated when I heard its lesbian fantasy - is such a relief. The tone of the narrator is serious throughout. I had some laugh out loud moments once or twice but that's it. One of the best fantasy book series ever!  I think it is the prose and writing style that I had to read this book real slow so as not to miss anything out. Book Review : Tell Me Everything by Elizabeth Strout

 Tell Me Everything  (AMGASH #5)  By Elizabeth Strout Published Year: 10 September 2024 Page Count: 300 pages  Medium Used: Kindle PW  Genre : Contemporary Fiction, Drama, Murder Mystery, 2024-read.  Rating : 4/5 The prose is so good and comforting. I couldn't put this book away for long. I picked the book because it is a recent release and the title felt immersive. Few pages into the book, I realized, that most of the characters have long histories and this is a book (5th!!) in a series. But I read it anyway and it could be read as a standalone as well.. only we will not have a complete picture of all the people and their interrelationships.  The three main characters are Olive Kittredge, Lucy Barton and Bob Burgess.
