I was hooked from the beginning till the last page. Although there is less action and less twists in this one than the other two books in the series, it didn't disappoint me. I was enamored with it all the same. I just fell in love with the brilliant prose and the sensational story telling of the author. I just wondered if the story title should have been a bit different because the character after whom it is titled had very little on screen presence. Rating : 4.25/5 This is my first book by the author and I am pleasantly surprised by the depth and insight she has into human nature and emotions. I really liked the evocative nature of her writing. I would say the word to describe this book would be : it is impactful, heavy, deep, soulful and literally dealing with souls. But also, I have more questions than those answered in the book. These questions and musings, pertaining to the devil , might be uncomfortable to some and morbid to all. But still, I can't help but wonder. Its just the nature of the book that gives birth to these thoughts in me.
