Brilliantly written. Until the end, I didn't see the twist coming. There is one suspense after another that kept me hooked. Until the very end, I felt like there are loose ends to be tied. And two major questions remain in mind : how did Pavel make it to the underground laboratory of Gessner without her keycard and access codes? How did The Golem survive the explosion without anything happening to his physical body? The rest all seems to fall in place seamlessly.

Two scholars .. Robert Langdon and Katherine Solomon are on a visit through Prague where Katherine was invited to give a lecture on her newly written(but not yet published) book about non local human Consciousness. At this point, i thought this book is riveted on the fight between materialists who claim consciousness is located in the brain versus noeticists who claim it is non local. But clearly,I was wrong! Langdon is her companion and escort. Some mysterious and very powerful forces are playing a very dangerous game with the duo .. as someone deletes and destroys all the copies to her book. The book editor figures out who was involved but all of them are clueless as to what might so important or threatening in her book that this group/organization would go to such extreme lengths to remove all trace of it. The scientist who has invited Katherine for the lecture dies shortly and they find out that she was involved in the mysterious working of an underground facility called Threshold. They are shocked when they find all the secrets of the facility.Meanwhile, there is a creature .. whose identity and origins are unknown .. which is determined to destroy this Threshold. Its path crosses with Langdon and Solomon and it rescues them from the  explosion of the facility. What is this secret of secrets? This book has beautifully explained the nature of consciousness and intelligence. What is meant by non local consciousness and what are GaBa chemicals in brain? How do psychedelic drugs play into the consciousness expansion? They eventually find that the CIA is heavily investing in harvesting the techniques of consciousness expansion, untethered and astral projection.  Brown has tied it all together very masterfully. There are many concepts to wrap our mind around and ponder over. He gave me stuff to deep think over. I love this book. The book released and I grabbed it. The author hasn't disappointed me and gave me what I have always been seeking. A way to integrate my spiritual cravings with his scientific findings!! It felt hard to distinguish between fiction and science in this one. It all felt so real like the author has read a bunch of scientific research papers and published them into this understandable, enjoyable book!!

Do read this. A must!
