Mind blowing. One of the very indulging and engrossing series ever! I couldn't put the book down, I had to finish it! Two twin sisters, brought up with little love from their parents and for each other, travel to a parallel world (called the Moors) studded with humans cohabiting vampires, werewolves and drowned Gods/monsters, through a door in their closet. They are twins but they couldn't be more different. While one wants to be decorated with rich gossamer clothes, the other wants to be toughened with hard work and tomboy looks. They are brought up by their parents in a certain way and they throw away the cautions and rules to the wind when they go into this new world. They choose opposite paths and spend a few years there. They don't want to ever go back but fate has other plans. One of the sisters is tempted to play her over indulged, cossetted hand on one of the native humans and it backfires. The two sisters make a hasty exit to save the skin of the younger, cossetted one. Their futures change in a very short period of time. All that they have worked for and planned for, go right out the window. So Sad!! So What exactly happened? Will they get another chance to revisit the Moors? Lovely, lovely read. Do check this out!!

Although this is a small novella, the world and character development are splendid. I could relate very much to both the sisters..which is surprising!
